Are you praying for a routine ?
What is the purpose of your prayers ?

Five times prayer is only a means to an end, not the end itself

What is important is not quantity but the quality

Your prayers too must have quality
You must have the right Eemaan – Eeman in practical

Sincere thoughts, Truthfulness

The right purity of your Qalb (Nafs)

The prayer should enlighten you,

Make you eschew sins and evils

Not to grab the portion which belongs to another

To be generous more than laws and commands

You may pray a million times until you become old

Finally at the end if Allah does not accept them because they had only quantity but no quality

Can you come back to rectify?

That is why Allah says in the Quran

It is a hard striving to come to me (God) – Quran 84.6

Man’s belief in God (Iman) is related to his conscious and conscientious

How conscientiously he acts with his fellow human beings.

in simple words

Man cannot believe or worship God without acting consciously towards himself and without a being conscience towards his fellowmen

Believing, worshiping, and repenting to God is easier than being righteous and consciousness to his fellowmen

When you stand on thakbir, whatever enters your mind other than your creator (God) is considered as shirk

Anything other than the creator that enters your thought is an idol – the created – Isn’t that polytheism?

When a person prays for many decades and if he/she cannot secure the required spiritual elevation during his/her lifespan, what is the purpose of his five times prayers, faral and sunnah?

Remember five times prayers is only a discipline (means) made obligatory in religion Islam to reach thakwa (righteousness) not a deciding factor, or something to be exaggerated or a selection criteria to reach Jannah
